Scottish Daily Record Pope Benedict: It is acceptable for male prostitutes to wear condoms Nov 21 2010 Emma Smith, Sunday Mail
His comments are in stark contrast to the Catholic Church's previous hardline stance against all forms of birth control. But in a new book, published next week, Pope Benedict sanctions the use of condoms to prevent disease, such as HIV and Aids - but not to stop unwanted pregnancies. The Pope's comments came in new book, Light Of The World, based on interviews with a German journalist. |
