Toledo NBC 24 - OH Going once, going twice the Masonic Temple is sold 06.01.2010
The two-story, 54,000-square-foot, Masonic Temple in South Toledo and 10 acres of land sold for $225, 000. The bidding started at $100,000. The land is zoned for commercial use and it's future as of now, is unknown. "The Masonic Center has been well maintained and is in very good condition. It's suitable for a wide range of uses, including convention center, mini-mall, church or supper club," said Rex Schrader, president of Schrader Real Estate & Auction Company. Five other parcels of land were also up for grabs, but remain unsold because they did not reach a high enough bid. -Erica Portillo Read more: Local, Business, Community, Toledo Masonic Temple, Masonic Center, Auction of Masonic Temple, Stranahan Theatre |
